- Used as adjunctive therapy for chronic disorders of the respiratory tract associated with excessive or viscous mucus, such as chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and otitis media with effusion including glue ear.
- For children 6-12 years old: 5ml every 8 hours. 2-5 years old: 2.5ml every 8 hours. This medicine should be taken with food.
- Shake the bottle well before each use to ensure that the suspension is properly mixed.
- Each 5ml of suspension contains 250mg of Carbocisteine.
